YouTube offers all kinds of content while your kid is browsing his/her favorite video, YouTube Kids (YT Kids) brings a far secured content that can be watched by your little ones.
The app has segregated the content under five labels: Recommended, Shows, Learning, Music, and Explore. All the videos are played horizontally by default and you can report or block any objectionable video. Despite of all the secured features, little supervision is required because Internet is like an octopus and can attack you from any direction.
The app does not show any content or advertisement for adults while watching the video.

As you enter your child's age, it only shows the content of that age group.

You can disable the search function. If your child knows to read and do his/her own search then you can set a custom passcode by simply entering the numbers that are spelled out on the Parents only screen.

As you enter your child's age, kid will be recommended a smaller fraction of videos selected by Google's algorithms.

You can set time limit of your own to limit the screen time of your kid.
