Ruchi is a Business Analyst with an IT firm in Hyderabad and mother of almost 3 year old, Mishika. She is one of those mothers who are not very fond of cooking and always on a lookout for snacks that don't take much time in cooking. As she is a working mum, her daughter goes to a child care so it is daily struggle for her to think about Mishika's menu for the whole day. Her Apple Oats recipe serves as a great breakfast item for kids between the age group of 1 and 6. You can store the dry powder of roasted oat in the box as well. It is quick and tasty. She learnt it from Krupa, her friend in office. Ruchi is very sorted mum and knows her priorities very clearly. She makes up comfortably for all her working days by spending lots of time on weekends. Recipe

  1. Roast and grind the oats for storage.

  2. Take a spoonful of roasted oats powder and put them aside.

  3. Pour fresh milk in the pan and bring it to boil.

  4. Add roasted oats powder in the boiled milk and keep stirring it to avoid forming the lumps.

  5. Add sugar according to the taste and let it boil for 2-3 minutes.

  6. Turn off the stove.

  7. Cut apple in small chunks or grate them and put in the pan.

  8. Add few drops of vanilla essence for flavor. (optional)

  9. Serve it in a pot for your baby.

Egg Roll by Annu Jha


Annu is a mother of two beautiful girls and work as an HR head with Flaktgroup in Noida, India. She is a practical mother with the right balance of strictness and love in her parenting. Her elder daughter is 8 and younger one is 3.8 years old. Annu switches very smartly from one role to another as mother and friend to her daughters. She is very proud of the fact that all the girls in the family are role model to each other. All the three are in the continuous process of learning from each other. She is a great cook and loves to serve it as well. Her Egg Roll recipe is quick and filling for any child or an adult.



Recipe

  1. Prepare the dough with 3/4 Wheat Flour, 1/4 Maida (All purpose Flour), Milk and Water.

  2. Add a half a teaspoon oil while kneading the dough.

  3. Make a chapati

  4. Beat the eggs for 2-3 minutes in a bowl.

  5. Add salt and coriander leave and make an omelette.

  6. Apply some mayonnaise on the hot chapati and put the omelette on top of it.

  7. Add some ketchup, onions and lemon juice.

  8. Roll the bunch and enjoy the munch.
